This little wonder box does what I demand. I have the GX 100 as well. The 200 adds a little faster RAW speed shooting, lower ISO at 64 and a couple more pixels, among other added features. It took many weeks to find the "sweet" spot. As a DSLR primary photographer, you won't easily be wowed but you'll find its role as a compact to be among the best for its price range. Outdoor is where it shines. Don't bother with indoor or low light shooting. While limited overall, it's worth every penny for my purposes.

I loved the GX100, which I used for over 2 years until I dropped it hard enough to stop functioning. After comparing many cameras online, I finally decided to get the GX200, on paper, there doesnt seem to be much of a significant improvement, but in actual usage I found that the camera exceeded my expectations. Pros: The colors are more saturated in their default setting, and the screen has a better resolution. Photos can be post processed in camera to adjust the white balance - this is a perfect tool! White balance can be completely adjusted in all directions, not just the color temp. When taking video, the GX100 had an annoying "pop" sound just after pressing the shutter button to stop the video, the GX200 fixed this problem. AE can be fixed, Flash control is even better with exposure compensation and manual level setting. Cons: Shutter lag seems to have increased slightly when taking 12M pictures. There are 3 "MY" settings, where the GX100 had 2 and 1 movie mode. Since the camera is quite decent in taking 640pixel video clips, having to change from SCENE mode and selecting movie was a bit irritating. Also this camera is NOT come with a case, so be sure to get one separately, I was lucky to still have my old case, which I use with a carabiner to attach to my belt loop. I love this camera as an all around tool. I have a Canon 30D + 24-70L f2.8, which is just way to heavy to take around and prefer the Richoh for all purpose shooting. I also purchased the Telephoto Adapter and Wide angle adapter, which I plan to take to the Kilimanjaro summit in January, I hope it can withstand the below freezing temperatures. One more thing, I have the Viewfinder Adapter when I purchased the GX100, but never found it useful, the image quality is horrible and lagging, don't waste your money on it!
