Worse desapointment ever
I was very excited about this camera but it ended up being such a deception that i felt relieved when the screen was broken a couple of months after i bought it.
The sensor quality is bellow anything you can expect. It might have 10MP but even when resized for web most pictures are at best noisy, and if ever the light condition weren't perfect, they just looked like a webcam captures. Dreadful.
My 4MP Leica bought in 2002 gives far better results.
That Ricoh was very seductive, impressive zoom, superb design, loads of manual and fine controls … all totally pointless without a decent sensor.
Next time i want a pocket camera go back to Panasonic/Leica, for sure.
