About Samsung WB150F

The Samsung WB150F SMART Long Zoom Digital Camera (Black) separates itself from the status of a mere point-and-shoot with WiFi functionality for instant sharing and "cloud" storage. When in a hotspot with the WB150F you can upload to social networking sites, sync the camera with other "smart" devices - such as a TV, phone, or tablet - and store files on the Microsoft SkyDive. It's easy; once you're in a WiFi hotspot, just connect using the camera's log-in browser. Additional features of the WiFi connectivity include the use of Auto Backup, for transferring your photos to your PC with a touch and the Remote Viewfinder, for operating the camera from your Smartphone, among others.

When it comes to the camera's shooting specs, the WB150F sports respectable functionality as well. A 14Mp CCD image sensor allows for capture of not only 14Mp still images, but 720p (30fps) video. A 24mm Schneider wide-angle lens, with 18x optical zoom and Dual Image Stabilization all work together to capture clear, precise images. And the 3.0" LCD screen provides a generous platform on which to compose and review shots or scenes. Additional features include a full manual mode (A/S/M), Samsung's Smart Filter 3.0 and Live Panorama.

The Samsung WB150F is popular because customers like the following qualities of the Samsung WB150F: 18x zoom, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Realistic color, Wifi and Wi-fi

can't use it with my Mac

I bought this camera and was very excited about it. After getting it home I took some pictures tried to download on my Mac. I could not do it , I'm going to take it back, now I have to pay a 15% restocking fee. Will not purchase any more Samsung products in the future. There should have been a warning to let people know it is not Mac friendly. If I could use this camera on my Mac I would be very happy.

So far we love this camera! I love to take pictures but I'm definitely far from a photographer. It's the perfect size for my wife purse and easy to use. There are a ton of great features and takes very clear pictures.

Very Satisfied

I chose this model simply because I couldn't afford a higher end model. I must say that I was very surprised when it arrived. All the options, the clear sharp pictures and ease of use. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an easy point, shoot and share camera.

My 2nd Samsung Camera

By

I got this camera for Christmas 2012. Since than the camera freezes all the time. I will not power on or off. When I take the picture and it freezes the am not able to review the picture of do anything. I have to manually power it off. Went on vacation and the zoom stopped working and this message popped up. "The zoom did not operate normally. Insert the battery again and turn the camera on. If the cameras does not operate normally, do not put excessive pressure on it and contact the service center" that is powers off and I can't use it.

Samsung Did it "AGAIN"

By

After reading so many "negative" reviews, I'd come to realize that the consumers mistakenly reviewed the wrong camera. This camera is amazing. The wifi feature is flawless. The connectivity with my Samsung Galaxy III, optical zoom, and large lens make this camera worthy of purchasing. The one thing that I have to get use to is the pop-up flash that you have to manually touch the release bottom on top of the camera. The internal editing in the camera is also an excellent feature.

Takes really good Pictures, but!!!

By

You have to really figure things out for your self on operating the camera. There should be a least a more basic manual included with the camera. I know you can go on line and find the manual instruction, but that is very time consuming. If you want to keep certain instruction, you then have to down load and print out, etc. ink is very expensive. Eventually, trial and error, help from family, I'm sure i may learn to appreciate all the bells and whistles on the camera. It is heavier and larger than I expected.I

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Does this camera allow you to zoom in video mode?
Helen O  Yes, zoom is available in video mode however the microphone may pick up the noise from the zoom while recording.
Lan M  Yes it does let you but does not pickup any sound from the zoom when it's recording. Just confirming that this does not pick up sound when zooming.
Shopper  what is the rating of this camera?
JAN P  Oops! Sorry I answered the question for a Kodak EasyShare Max Z990 Digital Camera.
Jacqueline Q  How do get started to operate the camera?
JOSEPH D  My best advice to you is to read the owner's manual. It provides specific instructions for setting your camera up. If you are new to photography this approach is a good way to get you going and will save you some frustration by trying to figure out the settings via a trial and error method! Good luck!
