Does not work w/A58
If you buy the A58 camera do NOT buy this, it will NOT fit on the shoe.

Doesn't fit A58 . I second that
After receiving this, I was told by customer service that, no this will not fit. They said the Nex 6 hot shoe cover will work. I ordered today.

He also said that the main website showed them out of stock, to go to www.sony.com/accessories , go to customer sales, click on any part, then do a pn search for the above number. He said without doing this it would not show available.

Does not fit the A58.
This item is listed as an accessory for the A58. I purchased it and it does not fit. I wonder what else is listed and is not compatable.

Pretty hard to screw this up.
Just like the original and covers the shoe fine. It's a little pricey for what it is and, if priced in the $2-$3 range, I'd buy a few to have when I inevitably lose the next one.

It does fit my Alpha A35 camera
I lost mine and this is perfectly fine, as a replacement

Camera Cover-up
Provides protection for the hot shoe and at the same time you wouldn't know it's there.
