The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX150 Digital Camera (Silver) is a versatile point-and-shoot with a sleek design and even more impressive megapixels, thanks to its 18.2 MP Exmor R CMOS sensor. When you consider the camera's 1080/60i video capture functionality, it's easy to see why it's one serious memory-making machine.
The camera is helped along in its mission of making great memories by 10x optical zoom, 20x Clear Image Zoom, a Sony G lens and a 3.0" Clear Photo LCD, among others. Of course the numerous auto functions also help you to make the most of each snap, by leaving all the leg-work to the WX150. Features like Background Defocus, Intelligent Sweep Panorama, Anti-blink and others all take the guessing out of shooting - no matter what the situation is.

We recently purchased our WX150 and found it to be an easy point and shoot camera. The pictures and videos are very sharp. The auto features do a nice job in selecting the proper setting based on conditions for example low lighting. Two cons are first the problem with uploading videos to a MAC and Facebook. While on vacation I tried to download the vidoes on my daughter's Mac for her but the MAc did not recognize them. In my investigation it appears additional software or conversion is required. Secondly the battery in this camera does not appear to have the life that my old Cyber shot had resulting in some lost photo opertunities. I am addresssing this problem by purchasing a second battery and AC charger. Those were the only problems preventing me from rating the camera as a five star.
I bought this for my Dad as a gift and he was able to use it right away without issue. He loves how big the screen is and the slim design. Definitely a step up from his several year old didgital camera that he had.
This is a very nice camera. Love it's small size & light weight. It has an easy intuitive setting that gives you great focus & lighting for your pictures. The low light was the most important feature for me as we live in Alaska & it's dark most of the year. So far, there's only 1 problem that I really hate about the camera. It's all black & so are the buttons which make it hard to find the buttons when you need them. I would also like to turn off the location details for the camera files & also have the option of saving in RAW format.
Absolutely love this camera. My wife and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at Disney World. This is my 5th digital camera and by far my favorite. The quick response (shutter speed), high quality photo's (18.2 MP#, wide angle lens, great battery life and many other features which I have yet to use, make this camera a must have for family and vacations. The two photo's I posted are in complete darkness #no flash pictures were allowed). I can't believe how great the photo's turned out...crystal clear
