Bought this hd off line and very simple to use .and very portable. Only thing is the usb lead is very short other than that love it

Bought this to go with my new 40" Sony Bravia tv, to record programmes. So simple to set up literally plug in to the dedicated port on the tv, follow the on screen prompts and its up and running in minutes. Silent in use and excellent quality picture on the recorded items, and plenty storage space available.

Really pleased with this. It's a nice size and it looks nice too which is a plus. No problems setting up with my computer and seems to backup quickly.

I bought the a mounts ago so happy with it super fast transfer with the media, work perfectly with ps3 and with the ps4 only the music will play. Will bay again and recamend to anyone no let done with this and it's so light easy to carry around looks awesome

i bought new Vaio and needed a new ex hd so went for 1tb and am very happy with my choice. Also with the ultra fast data transfer tool it only takes seconds to transfer 3gb of dvd

I have had this hard drive for a few weeks and have put all my camcorder and phone photos (both Sony products) on to it. It's very easy to use and works straight out of the box with the provided usb cable. I am very happy with this product

Have used this twice to backup my new computer. I loaded the backup manager and completed the backups with no problems. I cannot comment on how easy it is to copy back to my computer because the need has not been required.

The hard drive feels nice and solid and is extremely quite. It just sits there next to my pc and I don't even know it's switched on, which in my opinion is the problem. I don't know what it's doing, I suppose it's working properly but it's not at all intuitive and doesn't notify you of anything, not even with it's own flashing light. The pre-installed backup software it came with is very basic, particularly compared with a Clickfree HD device I also own. The software supplied looks like it was written 15 years ago and seems aimed at the Asian market because the operating manual is just like a pdf scan of an A3 piece of paper in every different language. However, it is USB3, (although it isn't that much faster than the Clickfree USB2 device I have), but it is a Sony, feels well made, is probably reliable, and was relatively cheap, so I suppose it's okay, but would be great with modern software and interface.
