great bag for the price,

this is a great bag for the price. I returned it because it was just too large for my needs. I cannot comment ondurability as a result.

Good bag

Holds a lot, rolls easily; perfect travel bag. Only wish had more dividers and options to arrange better.

"Almost perfect...almost"

This roller camera bag is as good as it looks. If I could have I'd give it 4.5 stars. It's well made, with well thought out compartments around the edges and in the front. Considering the price it's an extremely good bargin. Here's that missing half a star. My one and only complaint is the adjustable paddding in the center, where all our expensive gear goes. There just isn't as much flexibility as I'd like. It has the typical velcro sections mostly the same size (small) w/ three longer sections. These three long pieces and the sides themselves have a "pile" covering which works super with all the velcro hooked ends. However most (80%)of the short sections have a smooth nylon covering so they can't themselves become attachment points for any other padded section. I finally got the arrangement I wanted, but it's not pretty. Had ALL the covering material been "pile" it would have been easier for my customization, plus it would look elegant and expensive......Nice Gear, Nice case!

So far, so good!

I have so many lenses in various hard cases, I bought this to use as my lens case for each specific job, packing it up with JUST the lenses and cameras I would need for that day. So far, it's been great. The only negative I have is that the metal pull up handle(that is hidden inside the body of the case) still leaves 2 very hard tubes down the inside of the padded case, not quite where the dividers are, so I've laid in some "extra" padding on the floor of my case, to soften up these hard edges. Other than that, it has more than enough room for my lens choices for the day, my computer, all lens adapters and filters, a couple of DSLR bodies, even a little audio gear.

Greatest Travel Bag

JLab Pro is the best essential traveler bag for the money in an airline carry on size. Plenty of room for all equipment which includes, two DSLR,4 lens up to 70-200 lens, flash, media cards, laptop or tablet, and all cables, portable harddrive, etc with some room to spare. Customization was easy to fit your needs. I don't have to choose which equipment to take on my Next trip. Take all equipment for any situation! If I don't get the shot I need for the first time it will be because of me, not I needed the other lens. Thanks!

It's Everything it's Touted to Be

When one can put two cameras, several lenses, an iBook, an iPad and then some in one bag, close it up, wheel it, spin it and get it on plane -- that's a winner!

What a GREAT Bag

For the price (especially on sale) you can't go wrong. NO, you can't drop it from a 10 story building but I think we all would prefer never to do that regardless of the circumstances. I can carry all my gear for just about any travel situation (as a prosumer). In fact I'm already packed for our 7 day cruise to Alaska. I saw an advertisement in this month's Professional Photographer Magazine for one of Kata's "FlyBy" bags, where the photographer was actually sitting on his Kata! I went into my office and "gingerly" tried this technique out. My suggestions...do this on carpet (!!) and why would you?? But I could! I was looking for something inexpensive to see if this was the direction I wanted to go and I am so glad I picked this sale item from Adorama! You can spend a whole lot more, for a whole lot more bag, so you'll be able to carry a whole lot more and go to a whole lot more places, maybe even have to check your $$$ bag on a commuter flight. I plan on using this bag for all my shoots. On the upcoming cruise, all my gear will be with me throughout the travels. My small carry bag and long-lens case will be in the checked baggage for excursions. Can't wait to go!

Exactly as promised in the discription.

This bag delivers on storage space. I can pack two DSLRs, 70-200, 24-70, 8-16, and three flashes. The construction appears to be first rate and the price is a bargain. I can also pack a 17" MacBook Pro and an iPad safely. Attaching a tripod is not Ideal but nothing is 100% prefect. For the price I have not found anything else that comes close to this bag.

I Would Buy This Product Again

I have to admit that I purchased this bag because it was on sale at a really good price, and I needed something to store lenses and camera's that I wasn't using at the moment....I fully intended to put it in the closet so I wasn't too concerned about quality, padding, etc. I was totally and very pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box....The workmanship is very nice, the padding is nice, everything about it is nice, especially the rollers which I love. I plan to use it on trips when I need to carry more equipment...Also, it doesn't scream camera bag. It looks more like a regular type suitcase. If you have a need for a nice, large, roller bag, do not hesitate to purchase this one....I think you will be happy you did...I know I am.

JLab Pro Roller Camera Case

I have a Pelican 1510 and this is about the same size. It doesn't provide the protection that the Pelican does, but it is lighter and was less than half the price. And it provides space for a 17" laptop.

JLab Pro Roller Bag

I had been looking for a lightweight but roomy rolling bag like this for quite a while. It even holds my laptop, which normally travels with me (for PhotoShop work). When it came out on the Internet (via Adorama) at a reduced price, I jumped on it. It arrived in two days and I have already used it on a shoot. Looking back I'm sorry I didn't purchase two of them.

Good bag for the sale price

The case arrived and I was able to pack 2 camera bodies with extended battery packs, and an assortment of lenses, I haven't traveled with it yet, but it seems like it should do a good job. Even with the bodies and lenses, there is still room for smaller items, the empty and full card pockets are a nice idea too, with all I've packed into it, it is a bit heavy, but looks like it'll hold up.

Great bang for the buck

This bag holds about the same amount as my $200+ Lowpro, although the material/construction is not as hefty. The best is I don't have to carry 20+ pounds of camera gears on my back during long transits. It may not work well on cobblestones or uneven roads. In that case, I will have to hand carry it. It may also be a bit awkward pulling a suitcase plus this bag to the check in counter. Usually the distance is short. I have yet to try it out on my next trip.

Good Bag...Room For Improvement

So I would probably rate this bag at 3.5 stars but rounded up for the value factor. I will start off by saying I was pleasantly surprised when I received it at the quality of the material compared to what I expected from the pictures. The down side on quality is the sewn on handles...filled with a moderate amount of gear they were straining and seemed like they would not last long. Exterior pockets are plentiful and well sized...I really found the small side pocket that allows for bulkier/thicker items to be convenient. Inside there were tons of padded dividers and it is really geared toward holding a ton of lenses. The camera holder options were what I would consider the weakest point/biggest disappointment. Instead of holding the cameras at the top and bottom as you usually see in this kind of system you had to store the cameras (with lens attached) on the side...only one side. I found that with a small lens (50mm prime) on my D800 the camera fit snugly into the outside facing towards the center...not optimal but ok. The problem came when adding my IR D80 with a kit 18-55 lens...the only other opening for a camera is RIGHT beside the first one so it is not possible to store it with the lens facing the same direction so the body is to the interior and the lens to the outside. With a pro body or battery grip this might work but with the small camera I had to add an old burp cloth under the D80 to get the lens to sit correctly in the slot. My final grip is the level on padding on the sides. In the center I found the padding acceptable but when you have to put the cameras in the center you can't put a long lens there. So again I used old baby cloths to add padding and secure my large lenses. Pros: - Plenty of room...2 bodies with lenses attached, 2 long lenses, 3 smaller lenses, misc junk, and I had room to spare - Multi-directional, low friction wheels...a treat to push/pull - Lots of pocket room - Value...price vs. functionality Cons: - Layout leaves something to be desired - Additional padding will be needed - Poor quality sewn handles Overall I would recommend for enthusiasts, bargain hunting pros, or occasional/backup use. I don't feel it would hold up well to day in/day out use/abuse. I have not yet flown with it but it seems that it is the same size as my current carry on for clothes so I don't see any issues.

Good Value, Decent Quality

I've had a Pelican that I tote to weddings and on very infrequent events requiring plane travel. It's super heavy, so when I saw this on-sale bag with spinner wheels, I figured it was worth a try for local events. Spinning wheels beat one-directional rolling like my heavy Pelican), and lots of pockets and multiple handles are great. The cushioning is kinda chintzy along bottom/back of bag, but I knew I wasn't willing to spring for the popular and pricey ThinkTank bag that traveling photographers love. This is a decent purchase for me to use locally. I shoot about 18 weddings a year, so I'm not toting it every weekend.

Good for traveling light

Good for the occasional traveler with an extra body, 70-200, 24-70 (or equivelant) and a flash or two. Will not fit body with a grip. Not a lot of room for gadgets.

Great price but no so good padding

I needed another bag for storage of lenses and bodies since I have about 7 bodies that I work with on location! I already have a smaller Tamrac rolling bag, and thought this was a great price! This bag is great for everyday use but not for heavy travel! The padding is not sufficient for any kind of banging around! Well made and nice pockets for accessories and even ipad slot! Just wish there was heavier padding and you didn't feel all the rods for support where all lenses sit! For the price worth it, but not a heavy Tavel bag!
