About JTL DL-90

Use this small lighting kit in a variety of ways. In the studio, create special lighting effects on backgrounds, as hair lights or even colored fill lights in portraiture. The 5500-6000k color temperature will match any studio system. The S-45M strobe can be fired 3 ways, by synch cord, by built in slave or by the test button for pre-visualization.

The S-45 AC Slave is the perfect compliment. The built in slave reacts instantly to the primary flash insuring both fire simultaneously. These strobes, with a guide number of 90, are great for head shots, still life set-ups or even baby portraits.

Questions about this item:

David L  The specs seem wrong that it's only 3" in diameter? I'm assuming it's 3'. Also, are you able to position the camera directly above the tent?
Scott B  Here is JTL's answer to that question: "The camera mount is fixed on the rail, therefore it moves along the rail in an arch that is 180 degrees. The tent opens on the side for mounting, and in front of the camera rail for shooting, these are all zippered openings. The opening is about 6" wide, you can not open it further. The entire shooting opening is only one side of the arch which is 90 degrees"
william M  what other things do I need to buy to get this to work with a canon 20D? I am looking for a setup to shot small products for internet sales.
Andrew R  For very basic use I don't believe anything additional should be required. The strobes can be triggered using either a PC sync cable or may be triggered wirelessly using the flash built into your 20D to trigger the optical slaves.
