Good stuff

I use this product for most everything photography to video. I like the fact tha it performs as it states online, good quality, adjustable lighting ia great. Can't say anything bad about this product, worth every dollar spent.

Dangerous connections

Shooting mainly medium format film now; I purchased these as alternative lighting for work with models. They stay reasonably cool for 15-20 minutes, and intensity is fully adjustable. Biggest problem is the style of mount for accessories. I have had soft-boxes fall off onto my model! It is dangerous to have them without at least a reflector mounted on the light, as the quartz bulb is long and slender and sticks out 3" from the front of the light. Not suited to "bare bulb" shooting. Over-all solid construction and durable feel.

The JTL HL-3000 is a Pro Light Kit. The Superlight provides you with up to 1,000W of output power with a continuous variable adjuster. For safety reasons, the Superlight will turn off automatically if there is a danger of overheating and the blower will keep running to cool the light down to the regulated temperature, at which time the light will turn back on automatically.
