This softbox was ready to go straight out of the box. It's easy to set up and highly portable making a great choice for any on-location shoots. It also easily adaptable for tungsten and fluorescent lights. The octagonal design retains it's shape better than squares and provides a slightly more even dispersion of the light over the subject area. Reflections of the light source in the eyes also look more normal becuase they're round! A sandbag is a good idea as the stand is only medium weight and the set-up can be a little top heavy.
