Great camcorder for the price
This product was very easy to use from the beginning. Right out of the box it was charged and ready to go. Just find the power button and press record and you are already making great memories. I bought this camcorder for the price and fugured I would get what I paid for but in reality I received way more than what I paid for. This camcorder takes great videos. The camcorder itself is very small so I can travel well with it. I am a casual user so I am not into all that fancy stuff. I would recommend this camera to anyone who needs one for home movies and travel.

Solid Digital Camcorder
This camcorder has all the essential, basic features at a low price. Even if you are a more advanced video enthusiast, this is portable and easy-to-use -- keep it close by (briefcase, backpack, purse) to capture video during unexpected moments. The HD quality and fantastic lens (an all-glass Minolta lens!) is several steps up from a point-and-shoot digital camera's video quality.

Solid camcorder for a good price
Camcorder works as advertised. Lots of good features. Records in 720 HD so if you want 1080, look elsewhere. Battery, fully charged, lasted 60 mins so get a spare. Small controls.

Great HD Starter Camera
This is a great upgradeable camera. It comes with 8gb built in which will get you about 1 1/2 hour record time. But the battery only last about 50 minutes. So off the batt you will want to purchase a second battery. This camera is upgradeable to 64GB on memory. Still a fantastic upgrade from the 8mm Video cameras...lol Easy to use has a fantastic auto-sleep and power down function for when it's not in use.

JVC GZ-HM50B HD Camcorder
This is for my Dad, and it is good for him...as he is not a pro.
For me i will prefer a higher model....
