The P-38 is functional, versatile and designed to meet various operating and carrying scenarios. It provides a full TST protection. Carry the P-38 by its handle, adjustable shoulder strap, or as a rigid pouch for storing sensitive equipment in transport. this case can hold a digital Pro SLR body, a medium digital camera, or a small mini-DV camcorder.

Two seperate compartments share volume according to content and allow for additional equipment in mesh pockets and elastic loops and sleeves. Unique opening methods include top auto-flip-back lid, and full peripheral zipper access.

TST (Thermo Shield Technology) is a state of the art solution that gives perfect protection for the digital equipment while creating an extremely light product. The outer surface of the TST is thermo-formed in a protective "rib-shape" construction (Patent Pending) It is made of Super Nylon - a Mil-STD, double cord, water & dust proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistance fabric.

Underneath a cross-linked, closed cell PE + EVA shield is impact and shock protective while providing a comprehensive insulation against cold, heat & moisture. The internal padding provides the necessary cushioning & vibration reduction. The lining is Kata's unique Yelloop material which is fabricated especially for the anti-scratch and anti-static requirements while allowing divider attachment for internal partitioning.
