Do not buy

As an event photographer you need backups for everything. I bought two of these cards for an event. I was using two professional cameras, one of these brand spanking new cards in each. After 88 pictures one card give an error message and wouldn't work. After 171 pictures the second card give the same error message and stopped working. I used my backup cards (non-kingston brand) the reminder of the event without problems. When I got home and hooked up the kingston 4bg cards to my computer both were showing up empty. I was able to recover the images after buying a cardrescue software but I would never buy a kingston memory card again. Especially since I could have lost a very large client if wouldn't have been able to recover the images.

What's to say about Kingston Compact Flash Cards? They are top quality, very reliable, quite inexpensive, and totally dependable. I bought them for a trip to Europe this fall, and they performed as expected!

My older camera-Minolta 7d likes this memory fine. Burst shots as good as sandisk extreme (c-?). No glitches yet.

It's a good card, though if your gonna use it with 7fps rate expect some buffering. From there on its a great card, I haven't experienced any problems with it.

Fair Deal

By

from Hampden, Maine  -  Semi Pro

So far so good. Normally I use a different brand but my older DSL cna't take advantage of my high performance cards. These give me added capacity when I don't care about speed and are a good value.
