Works great

Read my cards right off the bat. Recognized by my computer no problem.

Excellent inexpensive solution

I didn't need a "35-in-1" card reader. This does SD and micro SD perfectly at USB 3.0 speeds, backwards compatible with USB 1 and 2, takes SD cards from my cameras, phone, and tablet with no muss or fuss. Works flawlessly with Win, Apple, and Android OS by my reckoning. Caveats: As other reviewers have noted, this is not a "rugged" device - despite having a tiny lanyard for keychain attachment, I would NOT advise that usage. I would also not recommend trying to plug this into the backplane of a computer - if you don't have front USB ports on your system it would definitely pay to buy a USB extension cable for use with the back port if you expect to be using this device often.

Bulky, but does what it suppose to.

My photo shows how far it wobbles.

Fixed all my memory card Problems

I had purchased a Class 10 / 64GB MicroSD card and my computer has no SD Card reader. My old MicroSD USB Adapter was not compatible with these newer generation MicroSD cards. This fixed my issue and it's USB 3.0!

Works as it should, but ...

This does the job - it will read modern cards and interfaces with USB 3.0, but it is bulky and flimsy. The USB connector takes up so much room that it covers the adjacent USB slots on my laptop. It is cheap plastic and the sliding partitions are a loose fit and wobbly. And the "read" light is hidden away in a small recess - not at all usable or helpful. Many other products, with the same build quality, do the same job for a lot less, but are USB 2.0. If you need USB 3.0, get this, otherwise opt for a much cheaper USB 2.0 alternative.

Solid little adapter

Push each end in to reveal the USB connector and the 2 docking slots. Pull both ends out to protect the connector and slots. The driver is not 100% compatible with Windows Vista. It performs fine, but whenever you connect it you'll get an error message. Just frustrating.

Solid and Secure

The MobileLite G3 from Kingston is a solid little USB interface. I use it for my 128GB SDXC flash memory card to transfer images from my Canon PowerShot SX50 digital camera to my PC via the USB 2.0 slot. Each end of the device slides into the body. One end exposes the USB connector and the other end the MSPD/SDXC slot and microSDXC slot. Once your memory card is inserted you can extend the cover to protect the cards when in use. Other adapters leave the card sticking out and exposed. If you're not careful you can snap the card or damaage it. Not the case with this adapter. When not in use both ends slide out to protect the card slots and the USB connection. Very smart design.

2 GB transferred in 1 Min w i-2500K CPU

Adorama has the best price on the Internet with free shipping and no tax (I'm in California). I absolutely love the Kingston MobileLite G3. It takes a minute to transfer 2 GB's of AVCHD Video from my class 10 micro SD chip or SD chip. I wish that Adorama also sold a $12 USB 3.0 3.5" Front Panel Hub with a 20 pin connector, and a $3.50 3.5" to 5.25" adapter bracket) It's a nightmare to crawl under my desk to plug in my G3 reader into the back of my computer.

Excellent Card Reader

I use this to transfer pictures from my phones SDXC card to my desktop PC. I especially like how the cap for the USB connector is integrated (no chance of losing it).
