About Kingston Technology 8GB Class 4 SDHC

• Starting at 4 GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. In addition, Kingston's SDHC cards use new speed "class" ratings known as Class 2, 4 and 6 that deliver a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with SDHC devices.
• Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).
• For added reliability and durability, our solid-state SDHC memory cards are built of nonvolatile memory components and have no moving parts that could wear out or break. All cards are 100-percent tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 live technical support.

Worked Great!

My wife and I used this card mainly for video capture and an occasional wide angle pic or two with a Canon SD 800 IS while on a Great White Shark Dive and Safari in Southern Africa. My wife and I used this card mainly for video capture and an occasional wide angle pic or two with a Canon SD 800 IS while on a Great White Shark Dive and Safari in Southern Africa. The card performed flawlessly while in somewhat harsh environments. We took video while in an underwater housing for the great white shark dive in 12 deg C H2O (over an hour in the water) as well as other video in the Victoria Falls, Chobe and Okavanago Delta areas. It worked through rainy and humid conditions giving way to searing sunlight with ultra humidity. Worked everytime and I would recommend this card to anyone looking for increased size, speed and reliability.

Decent card

This card came bundled with a new camera. I had already bought an 8Gb Class 6 card so this one is smaller and slower than the one I intend to use on a day-to-day basis. However, it will be useful to me as a second card to use in a pinch.

The only ones I use

By

from Cary, NC  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I have been using the Kingston branded SDHC cards since the SDHC standard started. The cards are perfect for my needs. Shooting landscapes, I do not need speed but these are still quick and can hit the bursts with my camera if needed. Only reason I got more was to replace other brands... These are perfect for casual use, travel, landscapes.

Have relied on Kingston memory cards for a number of years - never a problem and ultra reliable. Just from the feel of the material used, you can tell these are quality cards compared to many of the other brands. Great price as well.

Nice little Micro SDHC card

By

from The Colony  -  Semi Pro

I got 2 of these cards, one for the wife and one for my teenage son, both cards went inside their cell phones for pictures, music etc... I know that these cards are only class 4 and 8gb but for the price that I paid (Adorama) was the cheapest anywhere. The only thing I have heard from the both of them is, thank you-thank you-thank you !! So they must be nice little Micro SDHC Cards !!!!
