Camera could not read

I bought 3 of these to be included with Nikon Coolpix cameras and a Samsung video camera that I gave as Christmas presents. None of these could read the card. I then tried one of these cards in my Toshiba camera and it also did not recognise it.The manuals stated SDHC cards were what I needed but obviously not just any SDHC since other brands worked fine. It's probably my ignorance about not knowing the difference but I though I would write this review in the hopes I can save someone else from...

It works with Arduino. It's slow on PC

By

For the price I paid for 10 of them, I am fairly happy. Each came with an adapter, which is nice. I think one or two of the adapters became unreliable. This may be the cause of someone's grief. I have 10 so I swap adapters when I find the card is unreadable and narrowed down to two bad adapters. I've used these on my arduino and raspberry pi projects and for file storage. On arduino, if you use a very large capacity card, you waste a lot of time if you tally remaining free space so 4GB is perfect. I will be upgrading to larger sizes sometime soon but the class 10 16GB review is pretty awful. Maybe a different brand or it's the adapter issue again.

Reliable

I use these cards to put music and pictures on them, so for these purposes, it works great for a low price. Because of the price, you don't get a mini case with each card, and I'm ok with that. It is a class 4 card, which means that you get about 4MB/s transfers, which is decent, but not super fast like a class 10. So for storage, it is sufficient.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
edward w  To place pictures on my last ""NOT-SO-SMART" phone, Worked fine on that LG NV Touch. Eddie
Lee J  can I use this in my digital camera?
RYAN B  Most likely. All of mine can take this card. Check the specifications of your specific camera model (online, or in the manual that came with it) to determine if it can accept a microSD card or the larger, standard SD card. Some cameras require a faster data transfer rate (i.e. a class 6 or higher), so also look to see if a specific class of card is required.
