Review Summary
The Kirk FB-11 Telephoto Flash Bracket increases the distance between the flash head and the lens during outdoor photography and allows you to produce the much needed catch light or foreground fill lighting for your subject. It is designed for use with large telephoto lenses (with raised pedestal mount) that feature a tripod collar. It requires the use of a Kirk Arca-type Lens Plate attached to the tripod collar and connects to the bracket-mounting slot found on these plates.
The FB-11 attaches quickly and easily by simply tightening one stainless steel screw, with the included installation tool. The bracket allows you to quickly shift the flash to the side by simply loosening one knob and flipping the hinged bracket and for telephoto macro situations, the FB-11 allows you to tilt the flash downwards by up to 45 degree.
