Kirk Quick Release Lens Plate/Foot for Nikon 500mm f/4 AF-S (I & II) & 200-400 f/4 AF-S VR Lenses

The Kirk LP-47 Lens Plate is designed to take the place of the original tripod collar foot of a Nikon 500 mm f/4 AF-S (I & II) or 200-400 f/4 AF-S VR lens and to convert the collar to make it directly compatible with Arca-type quick release clamps, without the need for additional quick release plates.

The foot is 0.875" shorter than the original Nikon foot, which helps to lower its center of gravity. Critical mass is also reduced, but the original Nikon design is still maintained, which allows it to still be used as a carrying handle.
