Great film! bummer it is discontinued. Good for long exposure as the reciprocity faliure is not too harsh. Best film for reds, browns, oranges and yellows...

Beautiful colors. If you are looking for a film that has a nice color "Pop", then this would be it. It brings out the color in everything while not over emphasizing it too much. True to form in colors. I am not a pro but, I loved the results.

I have been using VS for about seven years. It produces rich, saturated colors that are balanced and realistic across the entire spectrum. The primary colors are not oversaturated. The film has a warm, pleasing palette that accurately produces oranges, yellows, golds, and browns. It is unbelievable with fall colors. Shadows have good tonal range and show great detail. The colors and overall image quality are eye-popping.

I have used this film for nature and wildlife photography and I am very happy with it. I feel it gives a warm natural tone with striking color. I compared it to fuji and prefer the warmer tone and greens produced on this film.

Shopped around a bit a number of years ago. Finally settled on the E100VS for my type of outdoor photography. Rich saturated colors!
