About Kaiser Open Tube 2, Small Shooting Table with Folded Cardboard Frame for Product Shooting ,

After introducing "Studio-out-of-the-Box", the All-in-One home studio in a carrying case, Kaiser has now developed two more shooting tables incorporating new and exciting ideas.

"Open Tube" has been designed to provide the optimal background for product shots thus eliminating the usual concave shape. The Open Tube forms two shapes; the part that forms the background has a continuously curved shape while the foreground portion is a flat surface to place the subject on. This presents the best perspective to the camera lens for a product shot. That is what both of the "Open Tube" models have in common. But they are quite different in size and performance.

With less than ten square feet or one square meter of space on a table, "Open Tube 1" offers the ability to photograph items ranging from wedding ring to coffee maker for catalogs, packages, archival purposes or web presentation etc. with professional results.

The table made from a single composite wood plate is assembled and screwed together by the user. The separate background plate, made from a flexible plastic foam, is inserted into the table frame and attached withVelcro strips. With one pull the background and basic frame can be separated for portability and storage.

The side frames of the table are shaped so there are supports on top of it with multiple mounting holes. They can be used to attach one or more lighting modulesor other accessories. The complete unit including background is 2.5 feet (77 cm)wide, 2 feet (60 cm) high and 2.8 feet (85 cm) deep.

With dimensions of 1.6 x 1 x 1.4 feet (50 x 30 x 43 cm) "Open Tube 2" looks like the little brother of the large model. But at a second glance it reveals an amazingly simple design. The table frame is a well designed corrugated board fold-up construction, the background is a suitable shaped pre-cut cardboard. This shooting table, designed for smaller objects, is not only extremely light, but can be easily disposed of and inexpensively replaced if necessary.
