This is one solid stand,any way you cut it. Much sturdier than I anticipated. Barring a hurricane, it's probably gonna stay wherever you plant it until you're ready to move it elsewhere. I think the sandbags I bought won't be necessary for this unit, which I can easily use for lights or background support, with the included cross bar. It's a heavy stand, yet it breaks down easily for portability. This is my first Kupo unit, but I don't think it will be my last. Quality product and a good value.
