The Linksys Powerline AV Wireless Network Extender Kit is an additional wireless plug in device for an existing powerline (Homeplug) AC power network. Use this adapter to expand WiFi coverage to any room in your house for accessing the Internet wirelessly on your desktop, notebook, tablet, or smartphone. Because of powerline technology, network communication takes place over the standard AC wiring in a home or business, precluding the need for costly and unsightly ethernet cable installation. An Ethernet port also gives you the option of physically connecting to the network for greater security or when using wired computer devices.
