Well made, strong.

Have only use the bag a few times and am not totally comfortable with it yet. It is very well made, and may end up being a favorite. I can't get my 14-24mm,f2.8, my 24-70mm f2.8, and my 70-200mm f2.8 in it all at the same time. This is a problem when I'm shooting my fisheye. Something to be aware of: Boda presents the bag as essentially waterproof-weather resistant at the least. This is true only for the lens compartment. The front pocket that is large and convenient is open at both sides at ...

Not big enough

Not as big as the description of the product offers. Does not hold as many lenses as stated. Good quality construction though.

built like a tank (good and bad)

This bag is super heavy duty and has a ton of pockets and storage areas, but I find accessing compartments (particularly the main compartment) awkward and even using this bag with my 70-400 lens the bag's a bit big. The shoulder strap is huge and also super heavy duty, which makes it awkward and uncomfortable to me (the pad is almost inflexible, although flexing it seems to make it a bit softer). Unluckily, the shoulder strap attaches to the main bag with clips rather than connecting to rings (like most bags) so you can't use other shoulder straps (or you end up with the "wings" with female ends of clips that you can't use for much else.) The padding and pocket arrangements seems to result in a lot of storage areas that I end up finding doesn't fit my needs well. I may end up using this for my gimbal tripod head...Or if I buy into a 600mm lens perhaps this bag may show its strength.

I had been using a full camera bag for shoots but it was way too heavy so I tried this bag out and love it.

Works like a dream

This bag is great and I am very glad I bought it; I have seen other photographers use it. I was drawn to the fact that it would go around my waist and looked to have lots of easily assessable storage. However, the only drawback is the strap, which is also the shoulder strap, cannot be pulled small enough to rest comfortably on my waist. There are two cinches (one on each side of the strap) that will eventually reach each other in the middle. I have the strap as short as it will go and the bag will not stay securely on my waist unless I hold the bag or also have my spider holster on.

Boda V3

By

from Vancouver, WA  -  Semi-pro Photographer

Canon 24-70 & 70-200 2.8 L w/ hood lenses do not easily fit in this bag together especially when leaving the tripod ring attached to the 70-200. Was hoping to cheat and use the bag to hold my 5D while looking for an additional bag. However, the two lenses and body do not all fit well at one time. The bag has its purpose and I will get good use out of it. Just make sure you don't fool yourself into thinking you can use it as a general purpose bag if you plan to keep a number of L lenses with you.

Durable & expansive lens bag

By

from Watertown, NY  -  Pro Photographer

I tend to use the boda with the belt attachment. It's definitely sufficient to carry an array of lenses (70-200, 85mm, 16-35 + 50mm 1.4 in the outside pocket, as well as a 580ex2 in the other outside pocket). But that makes it a little heavy for a full day of shooting. It's perfect for my needs though (weddings)

Good lens bag

This bag is comfortable and not too heavy when you have a number of lens in it. The belt attachment (optional) is good also.
