A steal at twice the price
Superior fit, flocked lining, locks solidly onto the bayonet fitting. Except for the doofy looking identifying markings (which were off center), this unit is a dead ringer for the real deal Canon hood, and costs way less.

Cost to quality ratio was right
I have been using this hood at NBA D-League games and I like the fact that it stops stray light and that it also offers some protection to my lens. I have also been using it for some nature photography and it has come in quite handy.
My biggest complaint is that initially the fit was extremely tight. After 5-10 uses some of the plastic on the hood began to shave off around the threads and then it started to fit better.
Given the cost vs an OEM canon hood, I'd say this was a great purchase and I would buy it again.

Excellent on 200 f/2.8 L II
Bought for a 200 f2.8 L II and it fits perfectly with no vignetting. Five stars at this pricepoint for the excellent value and no deduct for the 'not as nice as Canon, but nice enough' finish.

Solid, Just as good as Canon's lens hood
This lens hood is just as good as Canon's hood. Save some money and get this bad boy!

bought cause they were out of stock on the real thing. Its not bad, but its def not canon.

Would buy this item again...
Great price and will help keep the stray light out of the pic.
