As a photographer I use this as a second screen. I've owned it for over 4 years now and I've had no problems with the monitor or the stand, having changed/rearranged the room several times it's been moved a fair amount in its lifetime and it works perfectly.

I only had this monitor for around a year and a half before the monitor's stand randomly snapped. I never moved it or put more weight, other than the monitor itself, onto the stand.Luckily no damage to the screen happened (that I can tell so far) when the stand broke and the panel fell off.

Stand is so cheap quality, everything is nice with design, how design people think this cheap quality stand will withstand the weight and angular motion of this monitor... mine already broken....

Although the picture quality is pretty good the product is not worth how much it costs. The base is a fairly thin plastic and can break very easily. One the neck of the base is attached to the monitor it is almost impossible to remove. After having mine for about 6 months it broke for no reason. LG makes good products, this is just not one of them.

I wanted a large monitor for my new computer and this one seemed to be the best bang for the buck. and so far it is. The only issue i have is with the on off button and for that matter the other ones as well. they are to sensitive. if you bump them even very slightly the monitor shuts off. my speaker volume control is right under the power button. but other than that it is a great screen that is very sharp. and the computer set it all up automatically.

I really appreciate the larger screen and the ease of setting it up include adjustments. The slim look of the flat screen is a nice addition to my home office. Good value for the price.

I bought this monitor to replace the prior LG E2742V and I have to say that the 27EA63 needs more adjustments to get a nice color and quality image. With the LG E2742V the installation was fast but the main advantage of the 27EA63 it is the colors. Colors are amazing and also the brightness is not annoying. There is an improvement from the E2742V but not so great. I thought that the screen was going to look different and it is just a little improvement.

This 27" monitor has a great angle for viewing, bright, sharp clear. I work at home and look at it all day--what a difference from my 19" Viewsonic. The form factor is very slim and unassuming--no giant bezel to deal with. Features for dollars it cannot be beat--I looked at them all, and this LG was the best.

This product uses only about a third of the electrical energy and generates only about a third as much heat as my older 28 inch monitor from another manufacturer. The LG monitor was easy to set up and it worked instantly. The picture resolution, clarity and quality is excellent. However, when I attempted to adjust the picture centering, color and contrast settings, I find the guide manual instructions on the provided CD less than clear and/or helpful.

This monitor is a very good and reasonably priced 27 " monitor.I am more than happy with the image quality. The monitor has all of the "bells and whistles" t00. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends.

IPS 27 inch monitor, HDMI advertising 1080p resolution but is NOT HDCP compliant so you cannot view Blu-Ray content. this was the last straw for me on this monitor. The hookups in the back are right below the VESA connection and they stick straight out instead of dropping down. Hooking this up to wall mount and desktop stands is very difficult because it does not give any room to connect and be flush. finding documentation regarding all the LG products cannot be found on their site and usually can only be found in 3rd party reviews. It's too bad, this is a great looking monitor with an extremely small bezel but there are just too many issues with this company. And not enough time to research their diamond in the rough. no more LG for me.
