This is not a very good model. I bought my first one in Aug 2012, after 7 months, it started to show pink lines on top of the screen. after doing that for about 10 minutes, the screen would blink continuously. I used my manufactorers warranty, and waited about 1 month to receive my exchange monitor. Same exact model. It has worked very well for another 6 or so months. Now, the bottom of screen has a dim spot. It will flicker brighter and then dim again, but the dim spot is always there. It does not seem to get worse, but it is annoying. I do not recommend. Going with another brand next time.

I love how nice the color is on the screen. It doesn't stretch out lines so the picture stays sharp. I LOVE watching the "You have saved [#] of trees" grow with the energy saving mode. Couldn't be happier with this product.

I have owned this monitor for 6 months, the build quality is poor. On/off button is junk, visually poor compared to most (not very good for gaming), low fps compared to the average. The stand is weak and wobbly. Bugs can get inside and are impossible to get rid of, they are forever displayed on the screen. I wish I had a longer warranty.

This monitor has such a poor viewing angle and light blacks that I actually sent mine back, thinking that it was faulty. After "extensive testing" no fault was found. So I guess that its just a poor quality display and not faulty.

I am very happy with this monitor. The picture is fantastic and the resolution is nothing short of amazing. The wide screen allows me to view two pages at a time when writing reports in Word. I will definately recommend LG products to my friends and family.

this monitor was simple to connect to my computer.the graffics are great.so far I can't find any thing about this monitor that is not desirable but I don't particularly like the red light on the on/off switch.i think that it should have been blue .but that is a very minor problem.i still think this is a very nice monitor for the money value.

We were looking for a new monitor to replace a failed CRT, wandered into Best Buy, looked at an arraay of 10 -20 LCD/LED monitors and all three of us picked out the LG E2242T-BN. High resolution, vivid color, LED backlit and very competitively priced. We did something we rarely do, we bought it on the spot, took it home, plugged it in and went about our business........... SWEET!

This is a great deal. I needed a screen to fit into a small space but that would help me get more out of my 11" laptop. Without having to spend $1000 on that company's display, this was a great compromise. I wish there were speakers so I could watch video, but for this price I don't expect much.

This is a great monitor and has very sharp images and colors with a really bright screen. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone, and the price is right. I am going to purchase another as a second monitor as I like to use 2 screens for my work.

Monitor was easy to assemble and install. Simply plug in and play. Great colors and good overall picture quality. Some images seem to be streched horizontally more than I am accostomed to. I reccommend this product.

For the price it is a good monitor. In native view with a DVI connection I'd expect it to be a tad more clearer but I have to change the aspect ratio to make the desktop smaller to sharpen it. The stand rocks a little and is not very stable. Should be more sturdy. and seems to be made of cheap plastic. Hopefully, it will not break on me. Features are ok. But again, for the money, not a bad product if you are going low budget.

I new of LG and their reputation but never owned one of their products. I recently upgraded my desktop pc and monitor and found the LG 23" LED on sale at Best Buy. The price was very reasonable and I needed a larger screen than what I had been using for the last ten years. Best decision I could have made. I was impressed the moment I turned it on and have been ever since. I will not hesitate buying LG products in the future.

The video picture is excellent: Vivid colors and deep blacks. The only negative thing I can mention is that the base is rather flimsy. If you brush against the monitor, it will wobble until it settles down. But if you have it on a solidly built desk as I do, this shouldn't be a big deal.

This monitor is the "clearest and best" among our multiple flat-screen PC monitors. My son and I think it might even be better, picture-wise, than our current flat-screen TV. My son uses for gaming and enjoys it more than previous monitors. It was also very easy to set-up--withing less than five minutes we had it up and running. Highly recommended.

Nice monitor, like the wide-screen view. The only thing I don't like is it has a small post for support and the mounting is a little wobbly - when I am typing it wiggles a little. A pair of supports instead of 1 would probably work better, or if the mounting bracket was a little wider.

I like that it's wide enough so you can see everything without moving the page sideways. I can play games and see the whole game without scrolling down to the bottom of page. It is thin so it doesn't take up alot of space.

This is a very good monitor for the price. I might be biased because I got it on sale - but it's my work monitor and very easy on the eyes. As noted in another review, the display IS very bright. User adjustment fixes that just fine. Overall I'm very satisfaied with the product.

I had to replace a similar sized LED Monitor that had a poorer, dull and fuzzy picture that was difficult to adjust even after using a color correction Photospectrometer. The LG had a great, easy to use on screen menu to make all the crucial adjustments in contrast, brightness and color with the help of the photospectrometer that I had tried to use on my old monitor. This LG monitor was inexpensive, but still had a much better picture image than other more expensive monitors!

I bought this because my computer system was blown up in a storm.When i went to buy a system the monitor with the computer i bought was ok but was higher and the picture did not look as good as the LG. So why would anyone pay more for a worse picture. This LG monitor was cheaper and had a lot better picture. I am very pleased with this product and I would tell anyone to go with this product.

We did our research before purchasing this monitor, and we've been really happy with our purchase. It was easy to set up and use, the image is clear, we can use the monitor for both computer and TV use, and with the LED use it saves us money by using less electricity. We would definitely recommend the product.
