Great monitor at a great price
I bought a pair of these monitors for my home office setup. I love how thin and light they are. The picture quality is great. I don't do much photography editing, but to my untrained eye the colors look great. Overall, this monitor is a great value. I'd certainly buy this monitor again.
I didn't give five stars for two reasons:
1) This monitor comes with VGA cables instead of DVI cables and the full potential of this monitor can not be achived via VGA. VGA cables are yesterday's technology and are pretty much usless. Either no cables should be provided (thereby reducing costs) or DVI cables should be provided instead. It is really annoying to have to buy new cables while taking provided (but obsolete) cables and throwing them into an ever growing box of obsolete technology that will not get used.
2) The monitor stand is a little flimsy and height of the monitor can not be adjusted. Very few monitors have stands capable of height adjustment, but this really is a necessary feature for an office environment. Even if the monitor been $10-$20 more expensive, I would have still bought it if it had come with a more robust stand that had an adjustable height.
I would like to express how impressed I am with how quickly Adorama fulfilled my order. Even though I opted for the free ground shipping option my monitors arrived within a few days of being ordered. I also loved the minimalistic packaging. There was just enough packaging to make sure the monitors were well protected in shipment. There was no excessive packaging waste as I so often seen when I order stuff from elsewhere. When it comes time to buy other computer related stuff, I'll be sure to check out Adorama again.

It is a cheap screen but...
CONS: This screen is terrible. The blacks are a whitish grey color and picture fades on a slight angle.

Excellent Product for the price
I purchased two of these monitors a month ago. I found this monitor after searching several stores. My main requirements: A D-SUB, DVI, HDMI, and be mountable. I hadn't realized how difficult this would be to find. I have the two monitors hooked up as a dual display. I also have my xbox 360 hooked up to one for the occasional play. I have no problems so far and love the improvement over my old 19"s.
As a side note, the red LED power button is a pretty cool aesthetic.

Very good monitor for price
I purchased based on reviews that I read.
Easy installation. I have hooked up to docking station and switch between two laptops, no problem.
Great picture.

Easy to use
This 23inch monitor is big and very easy to set up. Took maybe 5 minutes at most before i had it set up and hooked up into my computer. Was slightly expensive but was worth it. Have had no problems with it so far, and guessing i won't be for quite a long time.

Unit failed - replaced discontinued model
We purchased a new E2342V-BN that developed a vertical green line of failed pixels from the top to the bottom of the screen 31 days after the date of purchase.
LG replaced the defective unit with a discontinued Flattrenton E2341V. My out-of-pocket cost of securing a replacement for the defective unit was $17 for packing and two hours of my time away from the office while delivering the defective unit to FedEx and the time to disconnect the defective unit and reconnect and reconfigure replacement unit.
Replacement took two weeks from date defective unit was turned over to FedEx to the time the replacement discontinued unit was delivered to our door.
A review of the web revealed that could have purchased the discontinued E2341V for less than I paid for the E2342V-BN.
Go figure.
