I've been looking for a keyboard solution for the iPad for a while and most of the ones that I have found have been bulky, unattractive, or impractical. This Logitech ultra slim keyboard defied my low expectations of keyboard cases. Clipping on magnetically, the cover adds no bulk to the iPad itself. The keyboard's aluminum design complements the iPad perfectly and looks incredibly sleek when closed. In use, the keyboard maintains its aesthetic presence. While the keys are a bit tight, the keyboard is no tighter than a netbook. Unlike most keyboard cases, the keys are responsive, hard, and spring back well. The downside to maintaining such a great design is that some slight practicality is lost. The aluminum scuffs and scratches just as easily as an iPad, to the point where I found purchasing a plastic skin necessary. The charge light is not quite intuitive, but that is of little concern because even out of box the keyboard has had enough charge to last for multiple days. Lastly, the keyboard is not backlit and, as I am an avid night time user of my electronics, that was problematic until I adjusted my digital memory to accomodate the smaller keyboard size. All in all, this keyboard case is something I'd highly recommend to anyone seeking a keyboard for the iPad. It is light, does not compromise the iPad's sleek design, and it functions extremely well. Just be kind to it to avoid scratches and scuffs!
