This is the first HD TV I have owned. The difference between this picture and an analog picture is unbelievable. It reminds me of the first pair of glasses I ever wore. I didn't just see trees; I saw leaves. I hooked it up to my DVR myself. The set up was a breeze. Can't say enough about the quality of the picture. LG puts out a quality product. I recommend LG every chance I get.

Got this TV for the bedroom and was surprised at the picture quality and brightness and I haven't noticed any ghosting during fast scenes. This TV is excellent for playing video games. For the price, you cannot beat the quality; great value. I do not regret purchasing this TV.

Fantastic picture quality. Vibrant color, contrast and HD. Ability to make your own complete range of custom picture and sound settings is a giant plus! The only negative is the volume range. Without additional help from an supplemental source (i.e. home theater equipment), this TV just doesn't pump out enough volume. Otherwise, I am very happy with it.

This TV is a great value at the price point. Video and sound both are excellent. The only disadvantage of this model is that it only has TWO HDMI connections and is why I only gave the features 4 stars. Everything else is wonderful. I like LG's on screen menus compared to other brands. We've had zero trouble with this TV. It is our secondary TV in a bedroom but gets occasional use with HD TV broadcasts and DVD's over HDMI.

This is the second LG TV that I have purchased. The first is still happily marching along in our family room. This one, however we got for our bedroom. We were looking for something larger than the 27 inch flat screen we had previously (different brand). When I started my search, I looked up many different brands of TVs trying to find those that had an "alarm" function on it. I'm one of those people who doesn't like to wake up to the blaring BEEP-BEEP-BEEP of traditional alarms. LG was one of only a few brands that has this feature. Given that we had a great experience with our first LG TV, and it had what we were looking for this time around, we easily made the decision to purchase this model. For those of you interested in the alarm functions, I'm pleased to report that not only does it have an "off/on" function, it allows you to decide if you want the alarm to go off on one particular day, only on Saturday & Sunday, or only Monday through Friday. This allows for a nice and easy set-it-and-forget-it type mentality when it comes to setting the alarm for folks who work during the week only. It also allows you to set the volume to a particular level, so that if you were watching a movie or show before bedtime that was a little loud, you can still wake to a comfortable volume level. The menu is easy to navigate, and the picture is fantastic. The only down side to this TV is that I've noticed that the time will "slip" a few minutes over a month or so. It's typically no big thing, and I just reset the clock whenever I realize our "wake time" is actually later than we've set it to. Overall, I would highly recommend this particular TV and certainly the brand to people in the market for a great set. LG is certainly the brand for me!!

Ive had this TV for almost a year now, and absolutly love it! Amazing picture and color quality, with eaasy to understand setup and functioning. The only feature that it lacks is stand alone internet access. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it or any LG products to anyone who asked. Love LG!

Bought this tv through Dell and couldn't be happier. Excellent video especially with bluray and hdtv. Not to mention it has alot of features to customize the audio and video, but i just prefer the factory settings. Perfect size (not too big or small) and the audio is amazingly clear for an lcd. If i had 1 complaint it would be lack of enough HDMI inputs (there are only 2, 1 rear and 1 side), but that can easily be solved with an HDMI switcher which i have added. Overall, highly recommended for the price!

I have owned this tv for 5 months and have had no problems(keeping the box just in case until warranty expires). The picture and sound quality are great. I'm a subscriber to Netflix, and this tv (after hooking up my new LG blu-ray dvd player) makes it easy to watch streaming videos from Netflix. You can also hook-up a computer pcu to stream Netflix, but, I didn't like having the pcu crowding the small entertainment center we have. So far this is the perfect tv for my family needs.

I'm really happy with the purchase of this TV. The picture is fantastic from HD sources. The sound is crisp and clear enough where I don't need to purchase additional speaker equipment. I've hooked up a set-top box and watching streaming video to it. It's also so easy to connect a laptop to the VGA port to watch movies or play computer games on the big screen. I do have to use speakers connected to the headphone jack on the laptop, but it's still greatly versatile. The TV has a swivel base which is helpful for both seating / viewing changes and with removing reflected light sources from view. I also like being able to change the names of the input sources, for easier identification.

We purchased this TV online for a very good price. It arrived safely and quickly. We did have to update our dvd player to an HD model and also our cords in order to use it but it was well worth the investment. Our cable installer said he sees hundreds of HD TV's on his job and he was impressed with the quality of the picture on this one. We have really enjoyed watching it, especially movies. Very happy with our purchase.

I bought 2 of the 37LG450. It's the first time I've owned HD and am so glad I went with the LG. The picture is terrific. Even after owning them for a month, I'm amazed at the difference in the picture quality, both image clarity and colors. I also love the sleek style of this model. I did a LOT of shopping around and can say with confidence that this is the best value for the money that I came across. I'd definitely consider LG for other products.

The picture quality isn't as good as I would have liked. It's a little fuzzy especially compared to my 5 year old plasma that is hooked up to the same feed. Putting them in the same room with the same feed next to each other, the LG LCD is definitely fuzzier. On the other hand, it's much cheaper, much lighter, and much thinner so it works well for its intended use as a second room TV. The on-screen menus are easy to use and the remote is really good too.

I spent an hour at brandsmart trying to figure out which TV I wanted in my price range. I decided on the LG 37LD450. It doesn't have all of the features of the more expensive models but for the price range it's really awesome. The picture is really great and it was really easy to set-up.

Excellent LCD TV in every aspect. No complaints! Just one suggestion for future improvement, the TV will wobble a little if bumped / light touch, the connect between the stand and the TV should be made stronger. I also have a 42LH200C and do not have this issue.

The is a very good LCD TV. It took some effort to get the picture setup the way I liked it. Most of the presets are worthless. The expert mode has enough options to get a quality picture. The USB port is a nice touch, but it only finds music and pictures. The built in speakers are fine for my small living room, but there are plenty of inputs/outputs to customize your entertainment system.

this is one of the more basic TVs, but overall am very happy with it in terms of the picture quality and the design. perhaps in the future, if i was looking to spend more, i'd go with a more feature heavy model, but for pure TV watching this definitely meets all my needs.

I just purchased this model as my first HDTV. I was amazed at the quality of the picture! It is so clear and looks like you are right inside the scene. The only problem I had was the fact that when you screw the base together it was difficult so my tv is just a bit loose from the base. Other than that I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It's has a lot of quality at an affordable price.

I finally gave up watching my old tube RCA TV which had served me faithfully for 15 years! I wanted a flat panel HDTV that would fit my cabinet. After taking some doors off, the 37" proved to fit beautifully. I am so glad I bought this set after recommendations from the saleslady. It has an awesome picture and once I fooled around with the easy settings to get just the color and hue I wanted, I have not had to touch it since. Although I have only had it a couple of months, I am extremely pleased. Great value for the price I paid and certainly no complaints!

I really love my LG tv. It was the first flat screen TV I have ever purchased, and it was definitely worth every penny. The images are excellent in quality, and HD shows are much clearer on this TV. I wish the volume was a little louder on the TV, but other than that, I really have no complaints. One of the best purchases I have ever made!

I wanted a decent size tv for the bedroom. This works great. I love to adjust the brightness before going to bed and it's so easy to adjust all the settings. It automatically searched all the channels associated with the cable. I didn't even know I had HD channels before this tv! Awesome tv, and an awesome brand. I have a 22 inch computer monitor as well from LG. I had it for 3 years and there have been no issues.

I love this TV! It is my first TV and I purchased it myself for my college apartment. The picture quality is great. I transport it back and forth from my apartment to my permanent home during the summer and it's held up very well. It's almost light enough for me to carry by myself. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, and I already have! So far it's been flawless! Definintely worth the money.
