I've been using my for over a month now. It's our first over the stove microwave. Very easy to use, large print on the control pad, well labeled for one touch choice. I'm a little disappointed with the fan. It has two choices....High and Low. It is way louder than I expected. Also, the light isn't as bright as I hoped it to be. These two disappointments are because the stores don't have these plugged in. Which is understandable but, would have been nice in decision making.

I now own two or these - a 47" and the 42" and I have to say that these are just superb sets, probably amongst the best budget (relatively speaking) LCD series that LG ever made. The IPS panels give a nice crisp picture with great color rendition and contrast levels right out of the box, even when viewing at an extreme off-angle. Back-lighting is for the most part very even across the screen, with just a tiny bit of bleed towards the edges of the screen at the corners, which you may notice some when viewing dark scenes. This can be mitigated by turning the backlight down a bit, if it really bothers you.

TV has by far surpassed all expectations. As always, LG lives up to it's name in my household. Better than the bargain brands. Image is clear for a 1080; ease of access; sturdy; just great in everyway. Sound is clear and can understand. No complaints.

We replaced an old tube-TV with this flat screen. The purchase process was straightforward and simple. The package arrived well-padded and on time. The TV set-up was easy. The only wrinkle involved the Cable company, the digital box and remote. We are very amazed and happy with the flat-screen TV. There is some "broadening" distortion in the projection making even skinny people look chunky. But this is probably a result of the height-width signal coming through the cable channel. Overall, we are very happy with the purchasing process and the product.

TV has all the appropriate features I needed and was impressed by the quality, not to mention a great price. Only negative would be the absence of a manual, no online support materials or explanation of the features. Still do not know what half of the features are and how to activate.

I did lots of research before buying a tv, as I was making the purchase for a very large room of approx 20' x 20'. I didn't want a monster tv, but I wanted something substantial and easy to see. This tv fit the bill perfectly. The price was reasonable and caught my eye, and the specs made me research further. I had initially considering a lightly larger tv just to make sure I had an acceptable viewing size, but I am thrilled with this one, and am so glad I didn't give up quality for size. 47" is perfect. Large enough, but not overpowering (I am a casual tv watcher, and do not need a cinema sized one), with really incredible definition. It basically setup itself. I pressed a few buttons, followed minimal prompts, hooked up the hdmi cables, and got started. The remote has a quick response, and the sound is great. I am 100% satisfied and would recommend this to anyone! Adorama was also lightning quick to get it to me- I was advised 7-10 days, and it arrived two days later! They even tucked it safely underneath my awning, out of the way of the weather and prying eyes. Really just fantastic, along with the VIP warranty at no additional cost!

This is my first HDTV that I own. The picture quality is great. No Wi-Fi or smart features but for the price spent its a good buy. The USB port is a bit of disappointment - although it can play all major formats - refresh rate is not good. I connected the TV to my wi-fi enabled blu-ray player - connected the USB to the blu-ray player - great refresh rate - good picture quality. For a better quality on standard definition - I reduced the horizontal and vertical sharpness features to level 15 and backlight to 90 - picture quality of standard definition also looks good. Black levels are farely good. All in all a good buy for the money.

it picks up all the cable stations, and has a menu to go to that channel, it has an automatic feature for color and light, for the picture.
