This is a great TV, brought 2010 From Bestbuy, Still working perfectly good, now I'm planning to buy new LG latest model.

We walked into  Best Buy with the intention to buy a smart tv. This televisions were all on the wall with beautiful pictures. The LG Oled stood out among the rest with a vivid picture. There was no other choice for us. The decision was made immediately. Love the new tv!

Clear picture

I bought this TV in 2014 to find out now in 2017 that it doesn't play the 4k content from Netflix. Wow disappointing.

Will be watching a program and then all of a sudden it says signal lost and all scratchy sounds pop up? Not sure why this is happening even tho the day before we can watch it all day long and no problem!!

Love the TV just not sure why it shuts off??

This 55" 4K from LG is top notch and very price competitive with all the others. For our use, it's the perfect size to clarity ratio. My only complaint is the SmartShare feature using Nero. Not at all easy to setup on all of our devices and a pain on my laptop with popups. There's got to be a better way for us who are casual users. Overall, a great unit and LG quality and warranty.

Great Picture Quality and Features

Made the leap to this LG 4K TV when my 6 year old 1080P LCD hit its recycle point and Best Buy happen to have the price marked down. This 4K TV has an absolutely stunning 4K picture. Now that 4K streaming content has been made more readily available, we've been able to make some comparisons to 1080P. There's no doubt that 4K offers a more full, realistic image with vibrant colors. That said, it also delivers a fantastic 1080P image.

We hope that LG continues to make improvements and additions to the user interface and menus. We'd love to see an expanded catalog of icons for premium video apps such as HBOtoGo, Showtime Anytime, FOX, etc...

Stunning Picture - Great 4K Value

Overall, for the price this 4K television had far more quality. The only area of weakness is the speakers. For that Reason, I did hook up a bose system to it. The other great feature is the 4K material available. The remote could be larger with more options. Otherwise I highly recommend this TV.

A very good 4K television

Pros:
1 The picture quality is stunning, that's the first thing that came out of my mind when I saw this.
2) The cheapest 55' 4K TV that I currently knew of, as I bought this instantly when there's a fantastic promo :)
Cons:
1) The LG Smart TV section still need tuning up, it is quite a pain to navigate and to play just a simple You Tube. I prefer opening You Tube using PC for much simpler and reliable experience.
2) Refresh rate for 4K resolution is too low (30fps). I can barely play games smoothly. Hope a firmware update can solve this so 60fps can become the minimum standard, and then I can be a very happy PC gamer ;)

FEAST FOR THE EYES

I have never watched TV that has dazzled everyone in the room with such a superior, clear, quick viewing experience like my LG Ultra HD 4K TV. From the simple set up, to the smart controls of the TV and the magic remote, even someone like me in their 60's has no difficulties navigating the many different features. I just watched the MLB World Series and felt like I was on the front row enjoying the sights and sounds. I kept looking around for the hot dog vendor ir was so delightful. TV shows and movies in 3D have added some fun to our household.

This tv is awesome The picture clarity and resolution is better than any other tv of its size The 4k makes the picture come alive I will recommend this tv to anybody it is awesome

Superior picture

Picture is perfect, just what you would expect. It is just like being there.

Great Product.

Although 4k is just starting to catch on enough 4K clips exist for you to get a look at what I believe is the future of TV. I have owned my 9650 for a few months now and will never go back. I will also say that the upscaling engine makes BluRay disks look even better. That's hard to believe but true. I would buy this TV again and I definitely would recommend it to my friends.

This is an astounding TV with the 4k picture quality. Keeps me ahead of the technical curve. The UHD picture is great!

Great Picture!

When I saw a few of the clips going around I was very impressed at this LG technology. Orded the glasses from LG and I am looking forward to playing games with these Dual Play glasses. Check it out.

this TV is great

This picture quality on this unit is absolutely amazing! It is hands down the best picture I've seen on a television screen. I brought this TV for the dual-play feature from video games and I find myself using it more for 3D movies and regular TV viewing. After watching this television it makes other non 4K television look terrible and a strain on the eyes to watch. This television will show every frame that is meant to be seen and ever detail that the camera is filming!

Better than lookout through your window

The only problem I have is with the controller, it will not align to the screen correctly, to get the arrow to the left side of the screen I have to move my arm almost completely out of my normal reach. Which I have to do every time I want to watch a blu ray movie the input side of the screen.

Controller stinks

When it comes to displays, I like them big, clear, and with as close to perfect color matching as possible. The display on this model has great LED blacks, no green undertones or bright gray blacks with these TVs!

You don't need to be a technician to navigate the inputs and outputs, and it also has an intuitive menu/settings system.

Only possible downside is that it was priced high for my budget.

Great Picture, East to Set Up

The smart remote with voces search is GREAT it is so easy to navagate being 52 and not a tecno geak it is vary easy to use the smart TV / apps and the images are crisp and clear I'm glade I went for the quility and not the price having others over like are kids and the old man can show them a thing or two that thay can't on ther smart TV . the kids like the ease of navigating the smart TV / app's .
We dont have dish or any cabel and we like to stream old TV shows and moves.
The sound is vary good
