Best Pack I Own
This is the handiest pack I own. I've tried so many packs (have a closet full) and this is the best. Great for air travel as it is small enough to fit overhead, has great access to my pro SLR with 18-200 mounted lens without opening the rest of the equipment. Holds laptop, and monopod also. Well made, comfortable to wear--weight distributed over BOTH shoulders and waist. Couldn't be happier with the bag.

In preparing for a trip to Asia I decided to replace my sling model Lowepro camera bag with a backpack model. The Fastpack 250 has a larger capacity, allowing me to pack all my camera gear in the main compartment and my binoculars, all medicines and a few other necessities for travel in the spacious upper compartment. This has eliminated the need for another carry on bag for these essentials. Great! My only wish is that the bag might be made of lighter material to reduce weight. The Fastpack 250 was a great buy for a great product!
I love this backpack very roomy and easy access to my lenses. I would recommend this product.
I've been looking for a camera bag like this one for some time. I was able to get all the camera equipment I previously hauled around in two bags into one along with my laptop. I can also pack my camera with 60-250 f4 zoom lense attached and access it easily.
Just the bag I wanted for vacation, allows me to include my laptop with my camera gear for travel. Lots of space in the bag and pockets for storage of both camera items, cables & general stuff. I always buy Lowepro bags and this is another great one to add to my selection. Like the blue color and it overall doesn't come across as a camera bag, just looks like a normal backpack.
Superb bag, lightweight with lots of storage.
I own a Tamrac Speedpack 75. When I load it with two heavy Nikkor G series lenses, it's very rough on the shoulders (though with just one lens mounted on the camera, it's ideal for urban exploration). Saw this one on sale and tried it out. I used it loaded with three lenses, flash, extra batteries, etc., and ventured out in the July heat to hike a Wilderness trail. Yes I sweated, but the hip belt placed the weight on my waste, and my back was happy. I had quick access to the camera, which slid in and out w/o hanging up. I pack a rain cover in the upper section for added protection. It's bulkier than the smaller Tamrac, but sooo much more comfy with a load. Different packs for different jobs, I guess.
I was looking for something that allowed me to get my DSLR, several lenses and other equipment in one backpack - the Lowepro Fastback 250 fits the bill. You can spin it around and access your camera from the side. I am able to store both my Macbook Pro and an iPad 2 in the laptop space. The top pouch will hold a lot of equipment (you could actually put another DSLR in this pocket). There are lots of pockets for batteries, memory cards, etc. The only possible negative is the lack of a tripod holder. Overall, it is a great item.
I use this for daily use. It's the right size for my camera, a couple of extra lenses and accessories such as cables, filters, extra battery and a few personal supplies. I really like the side pocket for holding a water bottle. The only thing missing is straps to attach a tripod to the pack.
This is truly the perfect camera backpack. It has just the right amount of space, feels great, has a side compartment for easy access to your camera, and lots of room for lenses and other odds and ends.
I just felt the rate was on the higher side but the product has definetly reached my expectations also the slot for laptop is really good to have i need not carry a different bag for my laptop
