This battery uses contacts which put too much tension on the coinciding pins in the camera. As a result, the battery sticks in the camera and is difficult to remove. This can be fixed with an exacto knife and some sideward pressure on the contacts in the battery. By sliding the knife between each of the contacts you can slightly relax the tension and eliminate the problem. Go easy on this though because the loss of too much tension will cause electrical contact problems later on. This should not be an issue - the battery company should use contacts with the proper tension and eliminate this problem. Otherwise, the battery seemed to work well.

....when you reviewing a battery. A low priced alternative for the Sony brand. I can't tell the difference when Sony or this one is in the a390.

This fits the Sony HX100V camera (not a vidcam, but has vid capabilities). Performs great. At this price, it's easy to keep several backup batteries available.
