Description
The Meade ETX-125AT is the ultimate telescope with twice the light collecting area of the telescope permits a much broader range of astronomical study. For the observer who is serious about astronomy, this telescope is a deeply satisfying instrument for a lifetime of astronomical study.


Serious astronomers for years have flocked to the Meade ETX for its observatory-quality Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system. Its diffraction-limited optics is so crisp in contrast, brightness and image resolution that they consistently out-perform telescopes of larger aperture. All ETX telescopes features BK-7 glass and oversized Pyrex primary mirrors.

The Meade UHTC is a series of exotic optical coatings precisely tuned to optimize the visual, photographic and CCD imaging performance of your ETX telescope. Image brightness is increased by nearly 15% over standard Meade coatings. Objects such as stars, galaxies and nebulae as observed through your ETX will be dramatically brighter. Even observations of the Moon and planets will benefit in increased image brightness from the full spectrum of light transmission.
