We bought these because we do not want to hand clients loose printed photos when they leave our studio. We wanted an economical option for sending images home (fancy boxes and letterpress cost more money than we have right now). These are much nicer than a manila folder or a loose image. My only complaint is that we had to buy both the portrait and landscape versions of this so that we could accomodate all types of images. I wish there was some way that the folders could do both, but I guess there probably isn't any way to do that. They are not very ornate, but they do the job. The paper is a heavy cardstock and the images seem to fit just fine. The client can throw them away when they get a frame or use them as an inexpensive option for displaying photos on a desk or other surface. We have not tried long-term storage yet but we have not had any complaints from clients about the quality or acidity.
