The Audio Video PowerCenter AV 775G with GreenPower from Monster-Power is a multi-outlet power strip and surge protector, ideal for use with televisions and home entertainment systems. It features 7 surge-protected AC outlets with patented color coding and matching cord labels for easy hookup. One of the outlets has wide spacing to accommodate bulky power chargers.

The PowerCenter also offers a pair of protected coax connectors for cable/antenna hookups. The 6' long Powerline 100 cord provides plenty of reach for connection to your wall outlet and has a FlatProfile plug to sit flush against the wall, ideal for use behind furniture. The unit offers advanced surge protection for up to 2160 Joules to prevent your equipment from being damaged or destroyed if a power spike hits.

The exclusive Dual Mode Plus feature will automatically disconnect to isolate your equipment from harmful surges and also sound an alarm to let you know that the PowerCenter has protected your devices from dangerous conditions. Monster's GreenPower technology will automatically switch outlets off when not in use to eliminate standby energy waste.

The unit also offers superior fire protection compared to ordinary surge protectors; most of which use plastic-coated metal oxide varistors (MOVs) that can melt and potentially cause a fire. The PowerCenter has ceramic-encased MOVs, using a material similar to that found on the space shuttle to provide enhanced fire protection.
