Not the same as the first I purchased

This is the second Mod lens-cap saver that I have purchased. The cord connecting the button to the elastic is much thinner than the first I purchased. It seems sort of stiff and when the lens cap is on the lens the string sticks out. Not a big deal, but I definitely like my original one better. The cord on the first is thicker, softer and just feels nicer during use. The second seems cheap. Too bad the product changed.
