I needed a laptop for college that was as good as handling everyday tasks as it was at processor intensive tasks. I've had this laptop for over a month now, and it continues to work like a dream, it boots and is ready to go within seconds. It performs buttery smooth when web browsing with several open windows and programs running, and isn't too shabby when working in Photoshop either. The screen is great, with good viewing angles and colors, although it does pick up finger prints easily. The battery has been lasting me around 5 hours on a full charge with moderate to heavy use. The keyboard is very good compared to keyboards on cheaper laptops and the color back-lit lighting is like the cherry on top. When it comes to weight it isn't too bad, about the weight of a new born, but when carrying books in your backpack with the laptop, it can be somewhat cumbersome. Finally, Windows 8 is, to me at least, a good operating system, although foreign at first, it has really grown on me. Overall this is an awesome computer with great performance and aesthetics.
