It incorporates Nikon's exclusive Eco-Glass (made without the use of arsenic or lead) for all lens and prism elements. Prisms feature phase-correction coatings and high reflection mirror coatings for superior sharpness and resolution, and all lenses and are fully coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds for maximum light transmission. The result is much improved low-light brightness, edge-to-edge sharpness, and definition.
Nikon's Monarch ATB series available in eight and ten power models, both with 42mm objective lenses, allowing for a 5.3mm exit pupil in the 8x model and a 4.2mm exit pupil in the ten power model. Each model close focuses down to just eight feet. The ten power model has a field of view of 314' @ 1,000 yards and the eight power possesses a 330' field @1,000 yards.
