High Quality 2-Axis Head
Large knobs are easy to use. It's almost like having a professional tripod in the car. Adhesive used for affixing the emblum is weak. The functional pads are affixed well though. The quick release looks like it should fit in two positions 180 degrees apart. Only one position works with mine. Camera is tilted out of the car for quick release. I would be more comfortable with it tilting in.

This is a more stable platform than just hanging out a bean bag. Allows taking hands off camera to drive a bit when tracking shore birds or other wildlife. I've used it with my Tamron 150-600 zoom and my Canon 70-200 with 2x and it held both just fine. It's a little hard to adjust on window once in place and takes a little getting used to, but after a bit of practice it works just fine.
Pros Heavy duty, Two adjustment screws, one for horizontal and one for vertical rotation. Removable base plate for attachment. Cons This clamp is much larger than I expected. It will not fit in my camera bag! Made in China.
i use this for holding my 70-200 canon with the ring mount. the images of coyotes and birds are very sharp compared to holding by hand. this is not something you will use everyday---but will be glad you have it when the time comes.
its a little heavy but not bad. only bad thing about it is the name. nikon. i have a canon. jest kidding. i did recommend it to a friend and he got one.
I use the product for doing rolling shots of cars on the highway. The product has a disclaimer saying NOT to do exactly that, but it works perfectly fine with my Rebel XTi and 18-55 lens. It is a bit limited on reach, so you'll need to stay on the wider end of the lens. A true wide-angle would probably work even better. It makes taking the shots a lot easier though, as it keeps the camera perfectly still, allowing me to use longer shutter speeds with the car I'm shooting to remain sharp. I want to buy some ND filters and see just how long I can go for. Great product!! No real complaints.
