Best cap for Nikon F mounts
Why would anyone review something as simple as a plastic rear lens cap? Well not all lens caps are the same. Some cheap imitations could actually damage the sensitive connections on the back of a modern high-tech lens. So the Nikon L4-4 is the best rear cap for any F mount Nikon lens or Nikon F mounts from other lens manufacturers.

I needed a replacement cap for one of my Nikon lenses and decided to go with Nikon rather than an off brand. The very low price and fact that Adorama carried it (I was ordering a bunch of other stuff at the same time) sealed the deal. I popped it on my lens and it fits perfectly.
May not seem like a big deal at first, but this cap goes on and off with an easy twist and STAYS on. I switch lenses often and feel better knowing the rear lens cap is secure.

This cap is better than the LF-1 it replaces. Covers more of the rear flange of a lens, and seems to seat more securely.
