Excellent Stability

I bought it for use with my binoculars. It is great for looking at the stars at night. But as an added bonus I have a Canon T70 35mm and a Power Shot S2IS that work very with it. I would definitely recommend this product. It supports the weight as stated in the description. The clamps work very nicely.

Nikon Full Size Black Tripod

My g/f and I used this to go hiking with and I would not recommend it for strenuous use such as camping or hiking. Did work great on the beach though! I would recommend for the price and decent quality.

Solid, stable tripod for the money.

By

from Dallas, TX  -  Casual/ Recreational

I'm not a tripod expert but I needed a tripod to support new Nikon 7000 on landscape shoots. Don't be fooled by the low price. I felt I could trust Nikon name so I took a chance on this reasonably price model. I was not disappointed. Tripod provides great support, it's steady as a rock and light to transport. Easy adjustments on legs to match topography and folds up into a neat package. Only thing it needs to make it better is a level but those are cheap to add. Can't think of how they could have made this tripod better and still keep the same low price.

Very good tripod for the use, took my d600 and 70-300mm lens without any stability issues. The built in level did its job like it should and thats very important to have.

A Good Tripod for Beginners

By

from Miami, FL  -  Casual/ Recreational

It's a good tripod that is okay for beginners or hobbiests. Not a fluid head, but it is otherwise constructed well and performs as it should.

Good Tripod for the price

By

from Kennett Square, PA  -  Casual/ Recreational

This is your basic tripod and does what it is intended for, light cameras and scopes. It is a good starter tripod. I own a highend Bogen (for heavy cameras and big len's) but wanted something light, small and inexpensive for a light weight spotting scope to use for bird watching. I got exactly what I wanted for the price I was willing to pay.

Andrew R  This tripod should work with nearly any camera/camcorder that is equipped with a standard tripod socket and that does not exceed the 4.4lb capacity.
Tillie J  how high does this tripod stand?
KRISTIN L  I apologize that I don't have an exact measurment because I kept mine at 5 feet most of the time. I will say that I have been very satified with it and have had it for about 2 years.
