The new Interfit EXD400 combines all the features of the multiple award wining EX150 MKII with fan cooling and a larger polycarbonate body.
Easy to use controls make the EXD400 desirable where finite control is required over the output settings along with double the power of the EXD200. Versatility is a buzz word often used to describe a studio strobe, here its certainly is the case in this compact 400 watt head.
Each head features, user changeable flash tubes, switchable modelling lamps, fancooling for prolonged use and Infrared and white light sensitive light sensors and a additional easy to use rear handle allows for precise positioning.
The EXD400 also features a pre set flash function to enable the head to reduce the pre focus flashes by some of today's Digital compact cameras, enabling the Sync cell to correctly pick up the first, second or third flash therefore ignoring the pre-flash used for focusing.

This kit is a outstanding deal! They work great! Nice that they include a softbox and umbrella although I've seen better umbrellas. Nice package and carry bag. For comparison sake I have Elinchrom lights. Much to my disappointment one head was defective. No issue with these. I recommend ike these.
I bought this product because I needed more power for both off site sittings and on site weddings (and I'm tired of using flashes for a light source all the time). I found these lights awesome and easy to use. Great power and 3 simple ways of using it with your camera, plug in, infared & wireless. My only con was the during shipping the rear handles that help you tilt the light to where you need it were broken off, wrecking the housing of the light where they were connected. Because of the built in fan they were not too hot to handle and worked well. I would suggest to the packers shipping items to pack the item in a bigger box stuffed with your air packing material to prevent the shippers from banging it around in route, the original box was only packed in a slightly bigger box but with none of the air packing material you use in smaller shipping items.
I've done a fair bit of research and for the price these are flat out the best bang for the buck. Yes there are better lights out there. Yes there are cheaper lights out there. These represent the best balance between the two worlds. The modeling lights are fully dimable, they have fan cooling, and each is rated at 400 w/s which is more than enough power to cover anything i've encountered so far. I did have the reflectors that come with this kit both horribly smashed in transit, but adorama did remedy the problem with minimal hassle. The bottom line is, if you are looking for the best balance between features and price, as of right now, this is it.
