Works great

from Fair Oaks, CA  -  Photo Enthusiast

Used in a Nikon D-610 to fire a Vivitar DF-383-OLY of-camera flash. Works perfectly. I have no issues with function or quality of the manufacturing. One thing I would like to do but cannot when the transmitter is mounted is to use the on-board flash as a low-power fill flash. The transmitter prevents the on-board flash from opening. That's OK, I'll just get another receiver and external flash and fire two of them.

Great set

This wireless triggering device works well with my portable setup I use it exclusevly with speedlights for on location shooting. it's inexspensive compared to PWs and works just as good for my needs.

I highly recommend this flash sync

from RI  -  Pro Photographer

I found the performance of this sync to be better than expected. I shoot strobes manually and do not use TTL Metering connections with my on camera flashes. I needed to go light on a job and decided to use my Vivitar 285 strobes. The sync worked absolutely beautifully and I had only one misfire which was likely due to a flash unit that I didn't allow enough recycle time for. I've not yet used it on my studio strobes so I can't vouch for how well it may work with them. I will take a good guess in that they will work just as well with them. The construction may not be robust, but with care it should provide faithful service. I would easily recommend this to anyone; amateur as well as Pro - and, for the money its even better.

This was purchased for travel. My only concern is the construction which seems flimsy. So far I have had no issues with it firing, it has been very consistent.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DAVID C  Price and performance. I've used it a few times and have had no problems. Do make sure your batteries are in a healthy state particularly in the transmitter.
Shopper  Can you get more receivers for this set?
ROSA M  Yes, I actually have 6 receivers, they work perfect. I think the receiver alone cost $39.
Shopper  hi, im trying to consider this for my d5000, will this trigger my sb-600? i believe i cant use my sb 600 on ittl mode, i am just concerned if this will trigger my flash at all. even on manual mode.
FRED T  It works on my Canon T2i and triggered my strokes most of the time. I'll rate it 7 out of 10. I never use it to trigger the flash but It should work on any flashes as it comes with a hot shoe mount.
