Overall the functionality of this vest is spot on. Plenty of pockets for all your needs that are big enough to handle the job at hand and be comfortable throughout the day. Top quality materials are used throughout the vest. The padding used in the pockets is perfect for protecting your valuable gear while adding comfort to your wearing of the vest. The mesh vent on the back is of the highest grade and allows great circulation and venting of heat build up when you are in the field working your butt off. It is very strong and durable. I am loathe to say anything that would detract from this vest as I have not found any deficiencies to speak of really. I use it for field reporting and field photography and it handles all of my equipment without having to cram anything in. There is plenty of room for your hands ( I am six foot six with big hands)to reach in and obtain the gear quickly without getting caught or hung up on the way out. I can say that the only modification I did to this vest was to reinforce the handle on the back top with a little extra stitching (just for my peace of mine)for when I carry the vest by hand with gear in it. This is a "bomb proof vest" for sure. I highly recommend this to anyone venturing into the filed or who carries a large amount of gear on a set. It will handle all of your needs and then some.
