We watch TV in a family room where a corner is the optimal TV placement. When we took the wide-screen plunge, finding a corner TV cabinet that could accommodate all the hardware AND be visually pleasing was a major challenge, until a friend who's an architectural photographer recommended doing a wall mount. A google search found just one corner mount: Peerless. Adorama had the best price and I knew them as a reputable retailer of photography gear, so I pulled the trigger. Glad I did—everyone in my family is thrilled with the end result! Some observations re installation: * The product rewards patience when installing. By that I mean: Installation is reasonably simple, but don't rush it. Measure and check levels repeatedly. Absolutely use a stud finder and confirm stud locations repeatedly. * I took most of a Sunday afternoon to install it, but I also took a lot of coffee and NFL breaks. Had I worked straight through, it would have taken me no more than 2 hours, if that. * Until it's time to mount the TV, a lone able-bodied person with the right equipment can install the unit solo. * Instructions are generally clear -- 9 out of 10. THere are a couple sentences that I read and thought "OK, I get it, but they could have done better." Also, one diagram omits two important bolts, but if you're reasonably handy and thoughtful, you figure out, "OK, I've got some extra hardware and these pieces look like they'll bear weight -- guess the bolts go there." Let ME be clear: These are exceptions, not the rule, with the instructions. As far as product performance is concerned, so far so good. The Mount appears to be overbuilt and very solid. That and having installed it myself, I feel uber-confident that my new TV is secure. I am especially pleased with the range of motion/positioning that the mount provides. You can pull the monitor out about 6", which allows approx 20 degrees of pivot left or right. In conclusion, this product is an outstanding solution to a challenging room layout. So far it has exceeded my expectations and I would heartily recommend it. Worth every penny!
