Photoflex 1000 watt, 230 volt Bulb for the Starlite Tungsten Light Unit.

The starlite uses unique double-envelope bulb. The halogen bulb is encased in an outer glass shell that protects it from damaging oils, moisture and shock, preventing inadvertent explosion. The outer shell also protects the bulb by insulating it, slowing the heating and cooling of the bulb, thus lengthening its life to an expected 2000 hours. Both the 500 and 1000 watt bulbs are 3200°K.
