About Pelican PC1521

The contents of every Pelican Protector Case can be protected with Pick 'N' Pluck Foam or adjustable padded dividers depending on each model. They are available for replacement as your equipment changes.

The Pelican 1521 Foam Set is a three piece replacement foam set for the Pelican 1520 Series cases. It consists of one "Egg Crate" top lid foam, one pick and pluck foam and one bottom foam pad.

CHESTER F  There is a full 4" down to the bottom of foam that can be removed. It might be possible to get another 1/2" in. I've used the foam that I removed to make other items fit tightly. The top foam will also give some, but the more thickness the better protection. The top foam varies from about 1" to 1.75" spikes. The very bottom foam in about 1/4". The case is very solid, so that just keeping items in place is the major project, the 1520 does a superior of protection. /cf
