I am a headset fiend. I have a lot of different headsets. This earpiece is THE most comfortable because it doesn’t cram into my ear. I prefer the the noise canceling qualities of the Voyager series, etc.

I used this device for 14 months and then it died (stopped charging. I called for service and went through the steps to fix the device. When all else failed, I was told that the unit is defective. Because there is only a 12 month warranty and they would not do anything to assist financially with a discounted replacement. I am not even a heavy user and the device was never moved or abused in anyway. Simply sat on my desk and died unceremoniously. Obvious a defective model that conveniently waited until after the warranty period to die. (Don't you hate when that happens and don't you hope the manufacturer will stand by its product?!!) Unfortunately, the customer service department does not know the meaning of "service".

I've been using this headset for the last year and a half and I really like it. Easy to use and I almost forget it on my ear when I wear it. But recently, with a firmware update on my Cisco phone, I coudn't hear any "bips" for incoming calls anymore. Had to go back to an previous version of the firmware on the phone and headset was fully operational again. Maybe Cisco should check this problem with firmware updates ?

As a previous ergonomist and user of voice recognition this is the absolute worst headset made of cheap plastic that I would never recommend to anyone. Very disappointed in Plantronics for even carrying this product. I continually struggle to fit headset around my ear and it is very difficult for others to hear me as the mike does not come close to your mouth, when you do try and adjust it, it falls off. Really!!!

I bought this product last week and as I could not actually confirm what came with it, I ordered an over the head, headband. Only to find out it already came with one... Wasted $ due to bad information available

Although we had to tape it together after year one of use, the headset functioned for three years with no problems. It is sadly now dead, but three years isn't too bad!

Had this a little over a year and it has the usual superb technology I have come to expect from Plantronics. Only down side is the design engineers either fell asleep at the wheel or just didn't care when it came to the over the ear headpiece. Loose fitting and fairly painful to wear for ANY length of time, let alone 7 or 8 hours.

I purchased this unit, and with the wires in comes with, I can't set it up in a way that I can pick up the call directrly from the headset. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a Wireless headset. A collegue of mine has the same model, it came with different wires , so that he doesn't have to use the wire with black box attached. Conclusion, he can actually answer a call away from his desk from the headset.

I have had two prior plantronics headsets over the past several years. Loved them. Used them all day. CS55 was my most recent. This unit has the ear bud attachment, but both buds are too big to fit into my ears. I'm 6'2" but have small ear canals and need small buds for headphones, etc. Looked for aftermarket options. They have small buds for the Voyager series, but not this series. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Will be returning the unit. I also called Plantronics customer support

I upgraded to this product a couple of weeks ago. Hook up was simple. Had a few issues with getting it to sinc with my phone but customer service was a great help & had it fixed quickly. So far, I AM LOVING THIS HEADSET.

We just bought our twelfth Plantronics headset and we only buy Plantronics at my company because of the reliability experienced over the years. We bought our first CS540. Excellent quality. I think the earpiece pivot feature is a bit stiff and sometimes the entire headband wants to move when pivoting the earpiece..Otherwise, it's great.

This headset is comfortable, and the quality is great. There is no background noise on either side of the conversation. Very glad I purchased.
