Product works as advertised, although it does not fit snugly in the bracket and slides in/out on me. I will eventually epoxy the collet into the alum bracket to prevent this. This also does not work well for long lenses like my Sigma 70-200mm on my Nikon D800. Since the center of gravity is forward of the stand, the camera sill leans forward to rest on the very front of the lens hood.

ProMediaGear BS Flash Bracket Stand is used with BBS and BBG model flash brackets; the stand prevents the camera from tipping over when placed on a flat surface, providing stability. The stand also prevents the camera from resting on the lens. It can be easily removed if desired.
